Harold (Buddy)'s Story
I conformed to the Corporate life for almost 30 years unintentionally until 2001 when I finally revolted and headed West to LA.
Cliff Notes:
- Moved to LA
- Moved into the Condo on the Ocean
- Learned to Sail
- Three Sailboats later I moved aboard a 50 foot Yacht for two years
- Sold the Yacht
- Lived in Dubai
- Traveled across the Desert skirting Saudi on one side and Iraq on the other in the middle of the night
- Learned to "Somewhat" speak and converse with Bedowens (Native Dessert Arabs)
- Had Sushi in Si...Expand for more
ngapore, Starbucks in Tokyo, Fresh Fish on the Nile, Water at the top of the Gizza Pyramid, Soul Searching in the Red Sea, Walked the same cobblestones as Jesus in Old Cairo, Spent a week one night in Amsterdam, visited my Ancestors home in Lancashire, England, flew over Baghdad at 35,000 feet and Kissed by a Prince (Just on the Nose as is the custom)
So the first Thirty years after High School was pretty sedentary and am hoping, and I'm off to a pretty good start, that the next thirty will really be exciting!
